Registration and Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing via the official cancellation form to the AECT office.

Refunds will be issued based on the date the cancellation request is received, as follows:

  • 45 or more days prior: Refund of registration fee, less a $50 administrative fee
  • 15–44 days prior: Refund of registration fee, less a $90 administrative fee
  • 14 days or fewer: No refunds will be issued

Due to the administrative and financial costs incurred, no exceptions will be made to this policy.

AECT is not responsible for event disruptions or cancellations due to weather conditions, transportation issues, emergencies (medical, professional, or personal), illness, or other circumstances beyond the association’s control.

Membership Requirement

If you register at the student rate, you must be a current student in fall 2026. Proof may be requested at check-in.

If you will complete your studies in spring or summer 2026, please contact us to update your member account.

Your membership must be in good standing at the time of the convention. If it has lapsed or expired, you will need to renew before check-in.
