Bio

Gi Woong Choi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology and Learning Systems at Florida State University. Before joining FSU, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati. He holds a Ph.D. in Learning, Design, and Technology from Penn State University, an M.S. in Cognitive Science and Engineering with a focus on HCI from Yonsei University, and a B.S. in Bio and Brain Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He is an educational researcher with prior industry experience in UX and game design. His research interests include informal STEM learning, makerspaces, AI in education, and educational affordances of emerging technologies.
