The LED invites you to join our May membership meeting, where we are organizing a panel discussion on:

Engaging Faculty in Professional Development to Support Online Learners in the AI Era

Join us for an engaging panel featuring two leaders, Dr. Kiran Budhrani from UNC Charlotte (UNCC) and Dr. Travis Thurston from Utah State University (USU), as they explore how institutions are engaging faculty in professional development to support effective online teaching and learning in the AI era. Drawing on campus-wide initiatives such as UNCC’s Center for Teaching and Learning and USU’s Center for Empowering Teaching Excellence, the session highlights institutional leadership, collaborative efforts, evolving approaches to teaching support, and effective AI pedagogy.
