Best Proposal Award

Purpose

The International Division Best Proposal Award is presented to the author(s) of the best proposal submitted to the International Division and accepted for a concurrent session.

The awardee(s) will receive a certificate presented during the awards ceremony at the annual AECT International Convention. In general, the best proposal represents research or practice poised to facilitate communication among educational technology professionals and students worldwide, as well as promote interactions that transcend international boundaries and cultural lines.

Eligibility

  1. Proposal author(s) must be a current member of AECT and the International Division
  2. Proposals must be submitted to the International Division and accepted for a concurrent session


Review Criteria

The proposal must be an original, unpublished work dealing with research and/ or theory in international educational technology. It can include a theoretical construct, analyses of related research, and original recommendations for future research and/or development. The proposal may not be a published report of a specific research study or development project. It must also conform to a recent edition of the Publications Manual of the American Psychological Association.

Selection

The selection of the winning proposal will be the responsibility of the awards committee for the International Division. Only a submission judged worthy of the award will be selected.

Nomination Procedures

All concurrent proposals accepted by the International Division will be considered for the award.
