Online Conference Registration Policies

REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

•  All registered attendees will receive access to the Online Conference program and Zoom links through Oxford Abstracts. Access includes live sessions and recordings, as applicable.
•  Sharing links, recordings or other conference materials with non-registered individuals is strictly prohibited. Any violation of this policy will be subject to review by the Ethics Committee.
•  Registrations may be cancelled on or before 5 business days prior to the first day (March 2) of the Online Conference. Refunds will be issued for the amount paid, less a $15 non-refundable administrative fee.
•  No refunds will be granted for cancellations received after this deadline due to the administrative and financial commitments incurred by AECT.
•  All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted to the AECT office using the official cancellation form. Refunds will be processed within 15 business days of approval.
•  Registrations are non-transferable unless otherwise approved by AECT.
•  AECT is not responsible for cancellations necessitated by emergencies, illness, or other circumstances beyond the Association’s control. In such cases, AECT reserves the right to reschedule or modify the event without liability.


MEMBERSHIP POLICY

Membership is required to participate in the Online Conference. Non-members must become members when they register. No refunds are given for memberships.

For non members, you can purchase the registration plus membership bundle. For International, Retired or Student membership bundles, you must first submit the verification of eligibility. Please allow for 1 business day to be approved. If you do not see the correct rate, please contact us at aect@aect.org before you complete your registration.

Your membership must be in good standing at the time of the Online Conference to attend and/or present. If it has lapsed or expired, you will need to renew to be given access to the program and Zoom links.

PRESENTER REGISTRATION POLICY
1. Registration Requirement

  • All accepted presenters must be registered in order to present at the Online Conference.
  • Registration confirms participation and secures placement in the official conference program.

2. Registration Deadline

  • Failure to register by this date may result in removal from the Online Conference program.

3. Access to Conference Materials

  • All registered presenters and attendees will receive access to the Online Conference program and Zoom links through Oxford Abstracts.
  • Access includes live sessions and recordings, as applicable.

4. Restrictions on Sharing

  • Zoom links and recordings are for registered and paid participants only.
  • Sharing links, recordings, or other conference materials with non-registered individuals is strictly prohibited.

5. Enforcement and Ethics Review

  • Any violation of this policy will be subject to review by the Ethics Committee.
  • Consequences may include removal of access, disqualification from presenting, or other actions deemed appropriate by the committee.
